So, to
be frank, Banana's fall line-up wasn't my absolute fave. What is my fave
is what's coming in spring. Their NYFW SS17 presentation killed it and I
was obsessed the second I saw everything. The paperbag
waist pants trend is a must this season and this particular pair is
great for work. Just pair it with a blouse (tucked-in) and pumps and
you're good to go. You can shop a few of the other spring pieces here before the whole collection is released.
I will say, though, Olivia Palermo did anamazing job styling the fall line. If
there was any way to wear the pieces, it would be her way. Somehow she makes everything look so
incredibly chic. From Banana Republic to
her LFW street style which was pretty much all TopShop..everything looks like a
million bucks. #goals
Whatever the season, you know BR is going to have all the classics. I'm in love with their denim right now and also just scooped this classic white button-down. The two of them together are the perfect pair or they will easily match with anything else you own. You literally never can go wrong with a dark wash skinny and white blouse. I’ve paired it with a cardigan, but you can wear the two on their own with some skinny, strappy heels or throw on a black blazer and some booties. I see it as a blank canvas. A white and navy blank canvas.

But
seriously, make sure to check out both the fall and upcoming spring lines at
Banana Republic. They always have
something trendy in their seasonal lines for someone and you know you’ll at
least be able to find all the classics.
