THE CITY THAT NEVER..

So, you know how NYC is labeled "the city that never sleeps"?  Well, I'm unofficially, officially labeling DC as "the city that never stays".  No one here is just here.  Everyone is moving and shaking.  Moving jobs, moving cities, moving apartments, going to school, going back to school..always in transition.  I had been told DC was a very transient place, but after being here for a couple months, I completely agree and see examples of it everyday.  Not in a bad way, but no one here seems content.  Okay, that sounds bad, you know what I mean.  It's more of the feeling that everyone is challenging themselves to be better (or to make everyone think they're better-am I right?). I'm sure I'm just used to the southern, slower way of life, and after being home this weekend I was able to see it even more.  Even the blogger scene.  All the girls here are on their game.  They are posting, vlogging, hash tagging, posing, selling, hosting, etc.  And I'm all like where do I even start?  It's made me take a step back and reevaluate why I got into blogging to begin with and to really focus on the mission and direction on my blog.  Do I want to make this into a job instead of just a fun hobby?  Do I even have the capability?  Will it sustain?  Do I even have the time?  What's the next step?  More to come, but in the meantime, I'm going to try and be as content as I can be.
