Okay, so it's not a beauty product, but today's post is all about my faves in DC. I'm so lucky to have some frands here this weekend to celebrate the 4th with and we've packed in a lot of activities. I wanted to show them some of my most favorite things to do in DC and below are a few of those things:
Brunch at Le Diplomate..le duh.
SoulCycle sesh..we won't be doing this because it's vaca for them, but a typical weekend for me would include this or Zengo.
Shopping in Georgetown and a quick stop into Dean & Deluca for a Strawberry Lemonade or an Iced Coffee. You can't go wrong with either. Also, make sure to swing by the macaron counter just in case you need a little snack.
The Waterfront. When it's 1,000 degrees like it has been here recently, this is the perfect way to cool off. Whether it's a walk to catch the breeze or a drink at Sequoia, it's a sure way to relax and get away from the sea of shoppers.
DryBar in Georgetown. Is there anything better than having your hair washed and styled? No.
Drinks at P.O.V. This place is my first love in DC. It's so cliche and so touristy, but it's a must.
If you can get in, dinner at Rose's Luxury. Worth the wait.
If you can't get in, dinner/out on 14th. Pearl Dive, Estadio, Masa..great rooftops and a really fun atmosphere.
Dupont Circle Farmer's Market. Depending on our energy level Sunday morning, we may try and squeeze this in.
Oh and I promise we'll hit up a monument, museum, memorial or two..
