The Whole Foods 'Whole Body' section has truly become one of my favorite places to shop for skincare, body care, you name it. I recently hosted another event at the Whole Foods in Foggy Bottom and this time around we were promoting one of their best selling skincare products, the Aztec Secret Indian Healing Clay. The theme of the event was "Not So Scary Ingredients" and guests were able to make their own face mask from the clay, which is maybe one of the purest products at Whole Foods. The guests mixed the clay with either water or apple cider vinegar (the crowd favorite) and then they took it home with them to try..it was really fun! What was funny, though was that so many people walking past the event said something about how they use and love the clay. I shouldn't have been so surprised, because after using it for a few weeks now, I totally agree with them. My skin feels amazing after every time I use it. You actually get this tingling feeling so you know it's really working ;)
I also highly recommend trying out some of the other "Not So Scary" products from Whole Body. The carry these cute single use face masks (already mixed) from Andalou Naturals which I love. cI also recommend using Coconut Oil after any face mask treatment that can be drying. It's actually perfect to use after the clay mask. Oh and how can I forget..another one of their best-sellers: Thayers Witch Hazel. This stuff is everything and does everything.
Thanks to everyone who came out to the event and I hope to see you at the next one! It will again be at the Whole Foods in Foggy Bottom on Thursday, November 3rd from 6-8pm. We're be highlighting another couple products from the Whole Body section and I can promise it'll be worth it to come. See you there!
