Y'all..the craziest thing happened. Last week, I was given the opportunity to test drive a new Buick - specifically a 2016 Buick LaCrosse. Don't get me wrong, when I heard "Buick"..I really heard "old man's car". But y'all, after a week of driving the LaCrosse I can honestly say that my opinion has been changed.
Let's run through the features, shall we? First of all, the car was beautiful. Sleek design, chic pearl color..definitely didn't look like what you'd expect. Add the experience of using the heads-up display, Apple CarPlay, heated (and cooled) seats and steering wheel, back-up camera with vibrating drivers seat alert, Bluetooth connectivity, side blind zone alert, and numerous other safety and comfort features and I started considering owning a car again.
I was able to drive this car to Alexandria, all throughout the city, and up to Bethesda. Let's just say I much prefer the LaCrosse to the Metro..le duh. Even my father, who regularly drives his Buick '72 GS 455 convertible (aka "muscle car") was impressed with the LaCrosse..and he knows his cars.
And so, with all good things, the week came to an end and the LaCrosse was taken away from me :( My Christmas list now has a new addition and yours should too! Thank you so much, Buick!
