Traveling to DCA again tomorrow and although it isn't for fun, I am still very much looking forward to it :) Whenever I travel, I try to plan ahead as much as possible and only bring what I know I will need. In the past, I wasn't so efficient and after a few bad experiences (i.e. running through the streets of London with two huge bags to try and catch a train--which we missed), I learned my lesson: only bring a carry-on. However, this trip will be for an entire week, so I'm allowing myself to check one (reasonably-sized) bag and carry-on a smaller over-the shoulder bag with my purse. I am still sticking to my plan-ahead method and writing a packing list of only the essentials. A few items that will be in my bag are above.

I'm obsessed with the stainiac tint - it's such a versatile color! I'll be traveling from DCA to BNA for 5 days on Thursday - it's so hard to pack lightly in the winter when boots and coats get involved! #bloggerproblems
