My parents figured out I needed glasses when my kindergarten teacher noticed me squinting my little eyes out in order to watch a movie she was playing on the TV. Yep..kindergarten. I have been through many MANY pairs of glasses over the years and let's just say my parents must have been messing with me by picking out the pairs they did. I won't really get into it, but all I'll say is one pair may or may not have been rainbow patterned. Mainly because I have HAD to wear glasses/contacts my entire life, they have never really excited me until I heard about Warby Parker. Glasses can be outrageously expensive, but Warby Parker priced theirs perfectly (perfectly enough to buy more than one pair at a time). Not only are they priced right, they have an outstanding selection with more than one way to find your perfect pair. You can go the tradish route and find a store to try them on or you use one of their other options.
I ended up going with the "Preston" in Gimlet Tortoise and just love them! Want to know the best part about buying a pair of Warby Parker glasses? Every pair you buy, they donate a pair to someone in need. They have distributed over 500,000 pairs so far..incredible, huh? I think I may have to try another style in a few months or even try out their sunglasses..and you probably should, too :)
